Journal of Arabic Language Studies and Teaching <p><strong><em>Journal of Arabic Language Studies and Teaching, </em></strong><em>(E-ISSN:<a href=""> 2776-1894</a>, P-ISSN: <a href="">2777-0885</a>) </em>published twice a year since 2021 (May and November), is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on Arabic Language Studies and Arabic Teaching. The journal welcomes articles in Arabic, English, and Bahasa Indonesia. There are no article processing charges or submission charges. This journal is indexed in <a href="">Google Scholar</a>, <a href="">Moraref</a> and <a href="">Garuda</a>. </p> <p>This journal is published by PBA Pascasarjana UIN Sunan Ampel, Indonesia, in partnership with <a href="">PPJKBA</a>. Editors welcome scholars, researchers, and practitioners of Arabic Language Studies and Arabic Teaching around the world to submit scholarly articles to be published through this journal. All articles will be reviewed by experts before being accepted for publication. The population of the study consisted of 345 male and female Arabic language teachers in Al-Dhahira Governorate, with a randomly selected sample of 127 teachers. The study utilized a descriptive methodology and a questionnaire comprising 17 items. The findings indicate a moderate overall degree of usage of methods for evaluating written expression among Arabic teachers in Al-Dhahira Governorate. There were no statistically significant differences, at a significance level of α=0.05, in the utilization of methods based on gender, except for the method of "direct individual correction," which was favored by males. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences, at a significance level of α=0.05, in the utilization of methods based on experience across all included methods, ranging from items 1 to 10 and item 11 onwards.</em></p> Awadh Alkalbani Saif Alazri Copyright (c) 2023 saif al-azri, Awadh Alkalbani 2023-06-13 2023-06-13 3 1 1 26 10.15642/jalsat.2023.3.1.1-26 The Significance of the Qur’anic Term and its Uses in Hashiyat al-Shihab al-Khafaji on al-Baydawi’s Interpretation <p>The research seeks to prove the importance of language in understanding the meaning of speech, especially the Qur’anic meanings, and the interest of interpreters in Arabic methods and their derivations and the statement of meanings from the Qur’anic term, by revealing the contribution of Al-Shihab Al-Khafaji in this field in his footnote to Al-Baydawi’s Interpretation, since the features of Interpretation were distinguished after him as a multifaceted and varied science. Stripes, the language in these interpretations is highly tabulated; Al-Shihab Al-Khafaji was not an innovation when he made language one of the essential tools in his entourage and expanded on it. Intending to clarify and clarify the meaning, and accordingly; This research investigates, through a descriptive and analytical approach, the efforts of Al-Shihab Al-Khafaji and his approach to verify the signature of the Qur'anic term in his footnote to Al-Baydawi's Interpretation, which is marked "The Integrity of the Judge and the Sufficiency of the Radi". The research concluded that language is an indispensable tool in its footnotes, a measure of comprehension, and a criterion of analysis. Based on the intended Quranic meaning, not abstract linguistic consideration, he was interested in the significance of the Qur’anic term, defining the linguistic origins of the terminology, its derivations, and knowing the different uses of it, which helps to reveal the Qur’anic connotations, clarify their faces, and follow their goals.</p> Muhannad Rannah Copyright (c) 2023 muhannad rannah 2023-06-13 2023-06-13 3 1 27 45 10.15642/jalsat.2023.3.1.27-45 Antonyms in the Qur'an According to the Perspective of Ali Al-Khuli <p>This study aims to identify the antonyms present in Surah Al-Waqiah. It provides a general description of antonyms (al-Tadhad), the theory used in determining antonyms (al-Tadhad), and the classification of antonym types (al-Tadhad) found in Surah Al-Waqi'ah based on the perspective of M. Ali Al-Kuli. The study adopts a library research approach, using the primary data of Surah Al-Waqi'ah from the Quran and secondary data from books and articles on semantics and antonyms. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman technique, involving data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings reveal six types of antonyms: mutadarrij antonyms (multilevel), juz'I antonyms (sections), imtidadiy antonyms (extensional or straight line), had (binary) antonyms, intisabiy (affinity) antonyms, and axis (poles) antonyms. However, from M. Ali Al-Khuli's perspective, Surah Al-Waqi'ah does not contain the antonyms of Antonim Amudi, Antonim Daairi, and Antonim Rotiby. This study aims to analyze the Arabic language in the book of Iqra' at the level of Aswath Arabiyah learning. The method used by researchers in this research is descriptive qualitative (library research) with data described narratively. The data collection procedure in this study was carried out by reading and understanding the contents of Iqra' book, and the data analysis that the author used was content analysis. Iqra''s book volumes 1 to 6 is a theory used to analyze qira'ah about the Qa'idah Baghdadi technique. The study results show that the al-Ashwat Study is considered a study of Arabic sounds, primarily how Arabic sounds are spoken fluently and clearly, like the owner of the language and how we can understand when Arabic sounds are spoken. Al-Ashwat plays an essential role in dominating listening and speaking skills with the existence of the book Iqra' volumes 1 to volume 6, which contains the title of the book contains procedures for reading the Qur'an in a new way that is not the same as the previous methods, as directed by the technique of Qa'idah Baghdadi.</em></p> Khusnul Khitom Moh. Buny Andaru Bahy 2023-06-13 2023-06-13 3 1 60 74 10.15642/jalsat.2023.3.1.60-74 Synonyms Analysis in Economic News about the Inflation Crisis in CNN Arabic Online Media <p>This study aims to describe, understand, analyze, and discover the types of synonyms and collect synonyms in economic news about inflation on CNN Arabic online media. The research object used is synonyms containing phrases, words, and the number of sentences that indicate the means of word relations in synonyms. The qualitative descriptive method is the method used in this study. The data collection technique in this study was the library method. The data source was taken from Arabic-language online media, namely CNN Arabic.
